Robb Matzner has been acquiring ownership positions in private companies in the United States since 1993. These investments have necessitated a top-down, bottom-up understanding of every aspect of business: income statements, debt levels, capital reinvestment requirements, capex and refinancing. His active role in the development of the businesses: operating budgets, operating margins, new product development, and restructurings requires an understanding of what constitutes the real value of the business: does it generate cash? His work with management improves corporate performance.
Prior to 1993, Mr. Matzner lived and worked in Europe. From 1973 until 1984, Mr. Matzner was a floor trading member of the New York Board of Trade (ICE Futures USA) and the New York Stock Exchange(NYFE).
Mr. Matzner has achieved elite status as a competitive athlete. He recently retired from FEI competition at the Prix St.Georges/Intermediare I in the equestrian discipline of Dressage. |
